Lastnight was intense in Detroit. Coming off a win in game 3, our Tigers trailed the series 2-1. The game took place at Comerica Park in the heart of Detroit where the Tigers hoped to even the series.
The Rangers had other plans; they wanted to extend the series to a commanding 3-1 lead which would force the Tigers to have to win 3 games in a row to win! Tigers took an early 2-0 lead in the third. This lead was held until three Rangers players scored to even the score forcing the game into extra innings.
Both teams kept it 3-3 untill the 11th inning. This is when the Rangers took over. Texas' catcher, Mike Napoli singled to center, allowing Josh Hamilton to score and advancing Adrian Beltre to second. Up to bat was Nelson Cruz. Cruz did not dissappoint, slamming a homer into deep left center. This allowed Beltre and Cruz to score, making the game 7-3 Rangers.
The Tigers were upset in Detroit and now have to play Game 5 in Detroit again in hopes to make an outstanding comback in the series, which they now trail 3-1. GOOD LUCK TIGERS!
I like how you added the "BOX SCORE" link, it directed me to a whole list of the game listings.
