To kill a moking bird is pretty much about prejudice in a small town of macolm alabama. This book is writen by a first person narator her name is scout (jean louise finch). Her brothers name is jem (jeremy finch) Fathers name is atticus finch. Atticus is a lawyer that is defending tom robinson who is a black man who has been accused of raping mayella ewell. The ewells are a family known as white trash the fathers name is bob ewell the daughters name is mayella ewell and the sons name is burris ewell. Mayella accused tom robinson of rape because she was ashamed of coming on to a back man and she had the bruises to proove the she was beat but she wasnt beat up by tom she was beat up by her father bob ewell.! after the case was done and tom was convicted bob ewell got really drunk and tried to kill scout finch and jem finch.
