This Friday our Vikings and rival Rogers Golden Hawks square off in the backfield to come together and defeat Alzeimer's. To show support both teams are wearing jerseys to support the Alzheimer's victims, Rogers will be wearing white and purple while the home team will be wearing purple and white. Park will be coming into the game with a record of 0-8, while the Golden Hawks are visiting our turf at 1-7. Both teams are excited for this game not only to play but come together to defeat Alzheimer's. There is alot of talk going around school about who's gonna come out on top.
I took time and asked the cummunity about what they think about the outcome of the game. Lynn Dyer says " the game will come down to the end and who really wants it. I'm going for the Vikings because my son is playing # 42 Ray Walton, and I hope they win because I love Park and everything they are about."
Rogers are gonna beat the Vikings, because our volleyball team beat them and our soccar team and also the golf team so we are gonna come in with a full head of steam and beat them" says Eman Sharif, a Rogers student.
This friendly battle Friday night is going to come down to the wire. Both teams are going be fighting tooth and nail not only for the victory but the cure to help stop the disease of Alzheimer's. Will the Vikings come out on top standding with their swords up or will the much hated Golden Hawks soar over us? Come watch the outcome!
