Saints are too much for the Lions

This past weekend the Lions traveled to New Orleans to play the New Orleans Saints in a wild card game to determine the playoff picture. The Lions upheld the Saints in the first half. After the first quarter the Lions went up 14-7 Calvin Johnson and Matt Stafford scored both of them. But coming to the end of the 2nd quarter Saints field goal kicker came onto the field and nailed the kick 8 yards from the goal line. Which ended the score of the first half 14-10 Lions.

Coming into the second the lions didnt look like the Lions that were playing the Saints in the first half. The Saints came out with integrety and wanting to win this game. Drew brees the Saints Captain and quarterbak moved the ball up and down the field with the first touchdown of the second half to Marcus Colsten Saints wide reciever.

The Saints slowly pulled away going into the fourth quarter, leading it 32-14. But the Lions didnt give up. They went to thier main reciever Calvin "Megatron" Johnson who scored a 2 touchdowns in the game topping with Matt Stafford suprising run to give the lions a score of 28- 32.

The Lions folded after that because evrytime Drew Brees threw the ball he set a record. And the game ended with the score of 45-28 saints. thier were lots of penalties through out the game. Some were not even called for and some were called just to be called.

Matt Stafford threw for 380 yards completing 28-43 passing along with Calvin Johnson's 12 catches for 211 yards and Drew Brees threw for 466 with 3 passing Td's
