Other than waiting for the next ACT prep test, or just working from a prep book, that happens to be fairly useful and big, students should look into ACT prep classes that take place in either certain colleges, local libraries, or online. Students should see their counselor for appropriate and accurate information, but studying for this all time valuable test should just come from one source.
These tests have been pressured on all students for a while and everyone knows how special and determining these scores can be, but the repetitive comments and lectures aren't there to bore you, rather for motivation and realization that once that test comes students should be in the zone and prepared for this mile stone. The ACT is an important factor in acceptance to colleges and scholarships.
Our students shouldn't strive for that dead 20 that is nearlly plastered on the school's hallways rather for as high as they can strive. That 20 should be the minimum. These students need all the support they can get.
