Recently I have read an article about the hometown hero of the Chicago Bulls Derrick Rose. The 6th foot gaurd from the University of Memphis is the main talk around the city of of Chicago. His team mates says great things about him, " he is a leader on and off the court, he doesnt wanna be chicago he is chicago"- Joakim Noah. They also have been talk around the league about Derrick rose being inducted into the hall of fame one day when he retire. Derrick rose became the youngest player ever to win the league MVP last season.
But Derrick rose life has not been all that great, when Derrick was little he wasnt very much fortunate. He lived in chicago and grew up around the rough streets of chicago. His mother could barely pay bills around the house. Once when Derrick was little derrick came home with a broken finger crying asking and begging his mother to take him to the doctars. His mother told him to shut up and she took 2 popsicle sticks and fixed her son finger herself.
Derrick is known around the league to be an outstanding leader on the court. "He is such like a leader" - LeBron says. He will be one of the best players ever to play the game.
