A bill for BULLYING!!! >:/

Apparently, on November 3, 2011 Michigan's senate republicans passing a bullying bill , though it wasn't for the obvious intended reason, of bullying being 'alright' to do by anyone. Bullying is now legal in Michigan as long as it has a religious reason... pretty stupid, but people make their statements on how this bill won't help resolve bullying, but giving it an excuse. So, I could beat up a homosexual classmate as long as my reason was "the devil MADE me do it!" I would be off-the-hook. All which include cyber bullying as well, as long as it's done in school, it's a-ok. Matt Epling, a teen boy that died of suicide in lansing in 2002, has the 'honor' of having his name be the title for this bill. Unfortunately, Matt committed suicide because of bullying and his dad isn't so pleased with what the republicans have done with his son's name. Mr. Epling has commented on his facebook page that he is ashamed that Michigan is licencing bullying instead of creating an anti-bully law. It turns out that we are moving backwards and this situation isn't going be resolved when we are encouraging students to bully through 'moral' beliefs. As of now we are a sick state and we need help.
